Meath Leagues 2026
Each team to consist of 6 players who are interchangeable between Doubles / Singles.
Format shall be Double Foursomes and Four singles H/C Matchplay over 18 holes each.
League to commence on Week Beginning 27th of April 2026, One Game per week.
Matches be fixed for every Tuesday, Home/Away format. Alternative day of same week if agreed between the two captains.
Matches to be played by the Friday of each week.
In the event of teams cannot agree on a match day for that week other than Tuesday. The Team that cannot field on the Tuesday Forfeits the points (le) 3-0 loss.
Every point in play operating for / against in league format shall it be level in group it will go to who loss less matches to go into semi finals.
Captains of away teams to arrange match.
Captains of home teams responsible for reporting the match result text to 085 1217113
Knockout stages: In the event of a tie between the teams, each team nominates a player for a sudden death play off over 3 holes. H/C APPLIES
If you entered team with 4/5 players, you cannot add later so please make sure al spots on team are filled and noted to the Meath County Board.
Each team may have a maximum of only 1 player from outside their home club once fully registered within the County.
The handicap you hold at start of April, is the handicap you use for the duration of the tournament, regardless of increases or decreases after.
Meath County Board decision is final on all disputes in this Tournament.
League final to be held in Rathfeigh date to be confirmed even if a Rathfeigh club makes final, we are picking club’s to host finals each year.
