Co. Board AGM.
A very well attended Meath County Board AGM took place in the Navan clubhouse last night.
The following officers were elected for 2025:
Chairman: Johnny Hughes (Navan)
Secretary: Joe Price (Stackallen)
Comp. Secretary/Registrar: Paul Lynch (Rathfeigh)
Treasurer: Pat Egan (Royal Meath)
Juvenile Officer: John Troy Jnr (Trim)
PRO: TBC
Congratulations to all the officers elected. We are sorry to lose Rachael and Stephen McCabe, they have both decided to step down from the board. Stephen was PRO for the last five years while Rachael took on the role as Treasurer last year. We all wish them well in their future endeavours.
On a brighter note, we are delighted to have one new committee member come on board to give us a much needed helping hand for the year ahead. Pat Egan from the Royal Meath club will be our new Treasurer. Pat is an accountant by trade and his knowledge will definitely be a benefit to the board when it comes to the financial side of things.
There wasn’t any important items up for discussion by the delegates on the night.
We are looking forward to another full fixture schedule this year and we would like to wish all the clubs and players all the very best of luck for the season ahead.
