Sorry to announce our scratch cup will be deferred/postponed due to our course not being in the condition we would like it to be in at the moment. And while work will be in overdrive over the next few weeks we feel the dry weather and excessive heat has done our course no favours especially without a sprinkler system in place. We do hope that another date at a later stage will help by giving us a few weeks of not so high temperatures that our course will return to its fantastic condition it was in just a few short weeks ago. It’s a very dé ja vúe feeling at the moment only the last time this occurred was due to too much rain in 2022.🫣
We’re very sorry to announce this news as we were really looking forward to the 6th of September and our scratch cup, but we will endeavour to have the course back upto a very high standard in a few short weeks all going well 🤞
Any names that are already on our timesheet will remain on them,and hopefully our new date,will suit all the players, we’d like to say thanks very much to you all,and apologies for the inconvenience.
